As guests at church conferences, ministry events or special Sunday services, we minister to the lost, hurting, oppressed and suffering, as needed and according to our individual and team skills: preaching, teaching, singing, performing, dancing, worshipping, praying, encouraging … etc. Always ready to give an answer for the hope within us. We love doing that!
By bringing practical help, training, mentoring, food and supplies, we tangibly demonstrate our love for and commitment to our partners. This gives the recipients so much hope and relief. It is so much easier to keep pushing, to keep pressing on, when you are strengthened and encouraged. And so we plant hope by offering education forums, mentoring conferences, establishing foodbanks, and equipping ministries to more effectively serve.
When we are firmly planted, secure in our relationship with God, established in our faith, then we are deep-rooted plantings and able to flourish. And then we spread the word, and plant “new dandelions” everywhere, teaching others to have the same faith, same hope, same conviction to serve and bless and teach … and thus “spreading dandelions everywhere”, and there we FLOURISH !
We value: ministering to the hearts and souls of hurting people,
and helping them obtain gainful work,
putting food in their bellies, getting an education;
and blessing our ministry friends and partners.
We may be biased, but we believe that everyone should get the chance to go on a short-term mission trip at least once in their life.
Dandelion Missions Trips are short-term trips that can go from one (1) to four (4) weeks in length but usually run about two (2) weeks.
We know planning a trip can be overwhelming so we do the planning for you. And since we want Nicole to be ultra-safe too, we are EXTRA careful to plan safe, as well as productive and meaningful trips.
Evangelist Nicole also teaches how to fundraise and offers coaching to her teammates, so you are not alone in your efforts.
IN FACT, WE WILL PROMOTE YOUR FUNDRAISING EVENTS RIGHT HERE ON OUR WEBSITE FOR PEOPLE TO FIND AND SUPPORT YOU!
A word of note:
On these trips we:
Evangelist (Ev.) Nicole leads Education Forums to introduce the options and help potential students discover the fantastic opportunities available to them to come to Canada to study, obtain a college diploma and sometimes even a university degree as well, and to work in Canada while they are here studying.
In addition to the other many hats she wears,
Ev. Nicole is also an international recruitment agent for St Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology, a fantastic Canadian college based in Windsor, Ontario, with satellite campuses in Toronto and Chatham, Ontario.
Her connection with St Clair College allows her to help students, assist them with their application and travel plans, and give them support when they arrive here, and her business and marketing training allows her to help them reach out to potential community sponsors so they can afford to go… all of this at no cost to the students.
Do you represent a college or university that offers international students an opportunity to study?
Want to help cover a student’s education costs?
Does your business employ migrant workers? Or do you have other ideas that will help them find useful employment? … we’d love to hear from you!
We all know of the hunger crisis around the world. The question is, how do we fix it?
THE ANSWER: Methodically, and cooperatively.
Hunger and poverty are horrible but frequent companions. Hunger causes pregnant mothers to have difficulty with their pregnancies, and can impact their baby. Hunger causes babies and children to be undernourished and develop more slowly. Their body reserves all the calories for their little brains and deprives the rest of their body of the fuel needed to grow bigger. Hunger causes school-aged children to struggle to focus and learn in class. Hunger causes teens to become desperate and act out to do anything to get some money for food. Hunger causes adults to make errors in judgement, make mistakes, make unhealthy or short-sighted decisions because of desperation. It makes doing the daily tasks, carrying out the daily work and their jobs a complete drudgery because it is just so incredibly hard!
Hunger weakens the immune system, burdens the body, increases the risk of developing health problems, and shortens the overall lifespan. It is really hard to have joy in your life when you are constantly hungry and tired and weak and discouraged.
This is no way for God’s children to live.
Ev Nicole has a goal to establish food banks at each of our partner churches and ministries across the regions she will be visiting this year. She has very high hopes but she is aware that these projects take time to establish.
But slowly, over time, with careful planning and structure, and the cooperation of people, municipalities and businesses, we can begin easing the suffering, and improve not just their own lives, but the entire economic state of each community.
With her organizational, research, and marketing skillsets, along with very reliable and responsible partner churches and ministries, Ev Nicole has complete confidence that these will become a reality very soon.
And with your help and support, it will go even faster!
“The Gainful Conference” is a Career and Business Mentorship Conference.
It is this simple:
Everyone has the right to obtain gainful employment or build a gainful business.
Evangelist Nicole has a HUGE goal to bring smart, talented, people who are successful in their occupation to the regions we visit, to share their incredible wisdom, lessons, insights, and even training that they have procured over the years. Presenters don’t need to be the highest-level executive to have something meaningful and helpful to offer someone else.
We are looking for people who have had success in their work life:
Come help us offer advice, mentorship, training, education to eager adults who deserve a chance to have rewarding work that sustains them and their families.
People in these countries use most of the same services and products that we use. They have the skills and abilities to do tremendous things. Many of whom already do those things… but often are struggling to make it successful.
They truly are very smart and quick to learn, in fact, they are very industrious and dedicated .. perhaps more so than people in North America. The problem has been that poverty has kept them from having access to the education and resources to do what they feel called to do.
We can come alongside them and provide training and mentorship to give them a leg up. That’s what good dandelions do. We bring the deep insights and benefits up to those who have shallower, weaker roots. That is how we are a blessing to others.
Please consider joining us, or contributing in some way.
When the average income of church-goers is less than $20/day, it’s really hard for them to support their local church.
This means churches struggle to have basic facilities – including walls, or chairs, or a small sound system, or overhead screen.
And most church leaders know very well how much their members struggle and are hungry, so virtually all the churches we work with prefer to offer a type of hot meal to their members at the close of a church service.
For many people this could be the only hot meal they’ve had in many days.
Church should be a safe, comforting, healing place to be.
When the church is a different environment than home, a better environment than home, then it is a reprieve from the pressures of everyday life. Church should be that reprieve.
When people know that the church is there to help them, to meet their needs, to love them, then they want to keep coming back.
Church should be a place that becomes the Hub of the community.
By making the church a solid, sturdy, safe place, then it is available to be used in many capacities. The church can be used to offer training to people, for pop-up medical clinics, as a food-distribution hub, a place for children and teens to gather and have community in a safe and guided way.
Help us to come alongside ministries and churches to meet the needs of people in their community and make their location the place of refuge, and a hub for them all.
When Evangelist Nicole travels, she likes to present special individuals in each country she visits with loving gifts sent/paid for by our supporters.
Our church and ministry partners there know their community best, so they give us a list of people in their communities who are most in need and these are the ones we try to bless.
Some examples of special gifts:
And bless someone with your commitment to pray and love them
