On merchandise purchased in our store:

First, we ask you to please remember that we are a ministry organization working to raise funds to support our ministry efforts. 

That being said, we want you to feel comfortable shopping our store and we want you to come back again and again.  

So, we offer a 30-day window to return an item for a full refund, with shipping at your own expense.  An item that is re-sellable is returnable.

– If the item is defective, we are happy to exchange it.
– Please understand we do not cover the cost of return shipping of any items.
– To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
– To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Some items are not eligible for return, logically.

Non-returnable items:

– Gift cards
– Downloadable software products
– If we ever sell health and personal care items

On merchandise purchased in on Amazon:

We simply share products that we think may be worth your investigation, we are not vendors or partners with Amazon in anyway.  
We simply supply a referral link.  If you have any issues with an item you purchase on Amazon through our link, you must deal with the matter directly with Amazon. However, we appreciate a heads-up if the issue you have with the item is something you feel others should know about, please let us know so we can adjust our promotion of that item accordingly.   We don’t want to be recommending products that turn out to be troublesome for people… that defeats the whole idea of referral.

On merchandise purchased through FlipGive:

Again, we are merely a ministry organization employing the services of a fundraising app.  Any products you purchase through our portal in FlipGive are the responsibility of the company from which you purchase the item.  We are in no way responsible for any products featured on any of the participating companies websites or stores. 
If you have any issues with FlipGive itself, then please direct your questions directly to FlipGive, as we have no control or authority to change anything in their online system.  We are mere participators of it, just like you are.  

We deeply appreciate the support you are willing to give us by shopping through either Amazon or FlipGive, or any other affiliate program that we might add from time to time.  And we are sorry if any of these processes cause you stress. Please update us if you run into problems with these services, as we want to know if a service is a problem for our supporters. 

Merchandise Refunds

Once your merchandise return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at in**@da***************.org .

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

You will be responsible for paying for organizing and paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.  

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

On trips purchased through our site:

We do not purchase flights or apply for tourist visas on anyone’s behalf until they have provided the necessary verification of general fitness to travel, and we have approved them to travel with us. Verification includes: satisfactory police clearance, a signed waiver (which we provide to you), and verification of your physical fitness to travel (according to the document we provide you).  Your funds are held until proper documentation is provided.  Once documentation is supplied and approved, then we proceed with purchasing your flights and applying for tourist visa(s) on your behalf. 

We reserve the right to deny anyone the opportunity to travel with us at any time.  Our denial of a person will never be a decision made lightly.  

If a person is found to have legal or criminal issues arising before departure, depending on the severity of the issue and our assessment of our team’s or ministry’s risk in allowing that person to come, we may cancel that person’s trip, subject to the refund policy listed below.  

We enforce our liberty to keep our team and our ministry safe, and we take this very seriously. 

THERE IS ONLY ONE FULL-REFUND SITUATION: 
If you place an order for a trip on our site but are unable to supply us with satisfactory police clearance, a signed waiver, and verification of your fitness to travel, or if based on these documents, we do not approve you to travel with us, we will not purchase your flights, but refund you your money in the manner in which you paid unless otherwise requested. 

PARTIAL REFUNDS UP UNTIL 60 DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE:
Refunds are available only on these portions:  accommodations, meals, and transportation costs.
Nonrefundable portions:  Flights, tourist visa applications, security, translator and safari booking are all non-refundable.

NO REFUNDS AT ALL ON TRIPS WITH ONLY 59 DAYS OR LESS BEFORE DEPARTURE:
As airlines do not offer refunds for cancelled trips except in the case of death or sometimes a medical note from a doctor, we as a ministry cannot bear the burden of your cancelled trip.   All bookings are pre-arranged and commitments made.  

Once you book a trip and commit to go, we consider you committed to go.  And thus you are responsible for your own expenses.  

IN THE EVENT THAT YOU DO NOT PAY THE REMAINDER OF YOUR TRIP COSTS BEFORE DEPARTURE:
You will only be eligible for the refunds as outlined above.
Your balance must be paid in full one (1) month before departure or you risk forfeiting the trip.
We will offer no refunds at that time.

IN THE EVENT THAT SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS ON THE TRIP, WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS.
ALL TRAVELLERS TRAVEL AT THEIR OWN RISK, AND ALL TRAVELLERS INDEMNIFY DANDELION MISSIONS, DANDELION MINISTRIES, NICOLE BARRON MINISTRIES, NICOLE BARRON, AND ANY OTHER OF OUR PARTNERS OR AFFILIATES. 
We do our best to plan and orchestrate the best, safest trip possible, but we cannot plan for every eventuality.  As all international travellers, we enter into these situations knowing that there is a risk of something going wrong.  We work hard to plan carefully in order to minimize those risks, for your sake, and our own.  If a legal or health situation arises while on mission, Dandelion Missions will do our best to be a fierce supporter of the traveller(s) and work to help remedy the situation as best we can. We are under no obligation to do so, but we will do that because we are good people who love you and will work to help you.  

Our approval of a traveller is based on the limited information available to us, and in no way is an endorsement of such individual. And although we do our best to be sure that we are travelling with safe people, we cannot predict people’s behaviour nor be held responsible for the bad behaviour of any traveller in our team, nor any staff member, volunteer, or community member while on mission.   We reserve the right to intervene and quarantine or otherwise “ground” a traveller if behaviour is unbecoming of a Dandelion Missions representative. 

All travellers are solely responsible for themselves, their own behaviour, including criminal behaviour.  We do not condone nor allow any criminal or threatening or inappropriate behaviour on any mission.

If a traveller is found to be behaving in illegal, inappropriate or threatening ways, they will immediately be returned to Canada, at their own expense, and their trip with Dandelion Missions will be over.  

And depending on the severity of the issue, they may be facing charges or fines or lawsuits. 

We, at Dandelion Missions, are not responsible for the decisions and actions of bad actors, and we will not be named in any lawsuits against a fellow traveller, destination hosts, volunteers or staff members, or any of our service providers or suppliers.   Only the fellow traveller or otherwise relevant offending actor is to be held responsible for themselves.  Everyone who agrees to travel and work with us, indemnifies Dandelion Missions, Dandelion Ministries, Nicole Barron Ministries, Nicole Barron, and any other of our partners or affiliates. 

And we really hope no one decides to do anything bad, nor that any bad situations happen to anyone on our trips, because we want you to feel safe, have fun, feel inspired, feel productive, and be productive and impactful to the many hurting souls to whom we minister. 

And please remember, when you travel with us, you are a representative of Dandelion Missions, and that is a very precious responsibility.  Please be aware and respectful of that.
